Step 1 – Sign Up
PicksPal UK is a virtual gathering place for sports and entertainment fans to prove who really knows their sport. It is a free contest for fans to compete in a weekly game, earning points by choosing the outcome of real events based on real odds to compete for prizes. .
It is very straightforward to sign-up for PicksPal UK, simply Click HERE to go to the Registration page, enter your details and choose a screen name. Remember though that your screen name will be visible to everyone else playing the game, so choose carefully!!
PicksPal UK will then send a message to the email address that you have used confirming your registration.
NB Any obscene or distasteful screen names will result in the user account being closed along with the forfeit of any prizes won.
The object of the Game is very simple – accumulate as many points as possible by the end of the week by choosing the correct outcomes of the various different plays that are offered on each event.
PicksPal UK is a weekly game and the week starts every Monday morning. Each player receives 1,000 points to play with upon the daily events, every day – so players receive 7,000 points over the period of the game week.
Players can make plays throughout the day, everyday or just come in a few times a week to try to hit the eight-time accumulator!
Step 2 – Log-in & Play
Logging into PicksPal UK allows you access to your PicksPal account. All of the personal areas of the site that you should need can be reached from the left column.
Every time that you log into your account, the scoreboard under your screen name and avatar will tell you how many points you have available to play with at that time, and also, what your total points score is.

You will also be able to view:
My Details
My Plays
Mini Leagues

Log Out
Underneath these menu options is your Points Summary, which works as follows:
Available – the total points that you have available at that time to make any plays
Total – the total of points that you have accumulated to that point in time (this amount includes any points that are pending on plays that haven’t yet finished and points available)
In Play – the number of points that have been staked on plays which are not yet finished
Last Week – the total number of points that you ended the game with in the previous Game week
Weekly avg – Your average weekly score since becoming a member of PicksPal UK. If you had finished three weeks with 50, 150 and 250 points, your overall weekly average would be 150 (which is pretty pants, by the way. Buck up!)

My Details: Here you are able to change the email address that you registered with, your password and any other information that you gave when registering initially.
You are able to allow other users of PicksPal UK to:
Send You Messages
Make Friends with you
Allow others to apply to join your Mini Leagues
This is also where to come to change your weekly PicksPal UK email preferences. You can choose to receive or unsubscribe from the PicksPal weekly email here.
My Plays: The My Plays area is one of the most important areas of your account as it is an ‘Account History’ for this Game Week and the last Game Week.
The Plays are broken down by:
Pending – those plays which have been made upon events which have not yet started or finished
Today – plays which have been made upon events that have already finished today
This Week – plays which have been made upon events that have already finished this week but before today
Last Week – plays which were made during last week’s Game and upon events that have finished
Mini Leagues: PicksPal UK allows you to play in leagues with groups of friends, colleagues or other PicksPal UK Members.
Here on the Mini Leagues page you can keep an eye on how you are doing in each of the Mini Leagues that you are playing within.
When you joined PicksPal UK, we randomly placed you in a Rookie League to play with other new Members to help you on your way.
Feel free to join any existing league or create a new league. You can create as many Mini Leagues as you want and invite as many people to join each League as you wish.
Once you have created your own Mini League, you need to decide what to name it (please nothing rude, obnoxious or obscene as these will result with the league being removed). You can also decide whether or not the League is Public (available for anyone to find and apply to join) or Private (only available to the people to whom you have sent invitations to join to).
As the League Owner, you will be able to accept new members and remove other members who you no longer wish to have within the Mini League.
Friends: This section helps you keep track of all of your friends. You can see who is doing well this week and who is choking. You can look at profiles randomly and/or populate the page until you start making friends. Then you can view your complete list of friends by clicking on the Friends link here.
Messages: This is a mini Mailbox alerting you if other users have sent you messages. Click on the Inbox link at the top to go to the incoming messages area to read your messages, invites to leagues or to accept new Friends.
Copies of messages that you have sent are stored in the Sent Items area.
Click on the New Message link if you want to create a new message to send to another member within the game.
Log Out: Click here to sign out, but keep coming back. This game moves fast!
You are now ready to play PicksPal UK. You can reach the site homepage by either clicking on the ‘Plays’ tab under the PicksPal UK logo or by clicking on the logo itself.
Once you have clicked on Plays, you will see the titles underneath either in bold or plain. If the name of sport is in bold, that means that there are events available to make your Plays (Picks) upon.
Events are added everyday throughout the week, so make sure you check back everyday to see where you can increase your points total!
Happy Picking!
